Holy Week, Personal Earthquake

Today is Maundy Thursday.  I had to look that up.  Apparently it means "moving toward darkness." I, myself, have been through a lot.  Some of that "lot" has gone on for a long time.  On the other hand -- there are new things that recently have bent me over backward.
Can't think why I'm thrusting these thoughts into the atmosphere, but what the heck.  Please -- will at least one of you put your hand out and catch them? (Thanks Glenda and Jenn for doing that!)
This is Holy Week.  The All of the All has chosen this week to wake me and shake me.  And I'd like to hear -- if you'll comment below -- any earth-shaking thing that has happened to you this week.  It helps to know I/you are not alone.

  1. I cannot say that I've had anything shake me this week, or for that matter in quite some time. Thank goodness. But I can tell you, I've lived those moments when it's darkest before the dawn. As we experience each day of Holy Week or retrace the steps of Christ through the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday, we will rise again on Sunday to Easter. And this for me is always the reminder that there is something far greater going on in the bigger scheme of life than the fear and pain of the moment. I feel certain that there is something much greater for you, something very special in your..."Easter."

    1. It's comforting to know there's something bigger than me. That I'm not EVERY MOMENT the guy at the wheel. Thanks.

  2. I hope things have calmed down for you and that you have found His peace in all that has gone on "for a long time." Mine was in January and February. But we all made it through once again and came out on the other side. I don't think God is finished yet.....Love you, Dear.
